AIMEX (Australian International Marine Export Group)

AIMEX is the peak body representing the Australian Marine Export Industry. AIMEX is a non-profit, private sector organisation consisting of members from Australia’s recreational and light commercial boating industry, involved in boat manufacturing and in providing marine goods and services for export.

The primary focus is to develop an internationally recognised brand image for the Australian boating and marine products and services exporters, and to promote these, and the capabilities and expertise of its members, into targeted and emerging new markets worldwide.

Membership comprises leading recreational and light commercial marine industry companies involved in the design, manufacture, refitting and repair of all types of yachts, pleasure craft and light commercial boats, manufacturers of boat equipment and fittings, and firms and organisations involved with marinas and other centers concerned with the storage, servicing, refit and repair of all sizes of leisure craft.
